Online Career Targeting for New Immigrants – British Columbia

We developed a Career Targeting service to be delivered online to new immigrants participating in provincially funded programming. The Career Targeting service focused on exploring and identifying employment targets that were aligned with their previous work and career goals in Canada.

We introduced the Career Targeting service that combined a 2 hour in-person group workshop with two-weeks of a structured and facilitated online experience with a Career Practitioner.  This blended service provided an efficient way for clients to realize personalized work targets before starting their job search. The online topics included:

  • Knowing Who I Am

  • Investigating the Labour Market

  • Finding Options that Fit
