Synchronous Chat in Career Services - Nova Scotia Community College

Nova Scotia Community College consulted the MixtMode team to increase the eGuidance skills of their Career Professionals using synchronous chat.

Practitioners from 13 different campuses across the province of Nova Scotia converged for a full day of training with Tannis Goddard. This interactive training day included:

  • core principles for guiding synchronous chat in career services

  • exploration of a response framework to support communication through chat

  • hands-on access to a practice chat tool during and after training

  • train-the-trainer package
