Building from Nova Scotia’s innovative public employment service model that recognizes both individuals and employers as users of Nova Scotia Works Centres; this project is undertaking research to gain a deeper understanding of how to innovate and effectively serve individuals and employers through public employment centres.

MixtMode and the Canadian Career Development Foundation are leading this multi-pronged project to create a stronger, more defined model of dual-client service. Our intention is to pilot the new model in the Spring of 2023 through demonstration sites in Nova Scotia.

We are working together with the departments of Learning Skills and Immigration and Economic Development. This project is part of the Responsive Career Pathways research project, funded by FSC and led by Blueprint, focused on creating strong, innovative future-ready career services for Canada.
